Data Controller
Registered office: Turin (TO), Italy
P.IVA IT11702670016 · REA TO-1234397
Email privacy: info@myrepair.it
The Data Controller is Fixit SRLS, the company that develops and manages the MyRepair service (www.myrepair.cloud / myrepair.it / my-repair.it / premium.myrepair.it), a cloud management solution for repair centres.
MyRepair Mobile Application
MyRepair is available as a mobile application for Android devices through the Google Play Store (called "MyRepair Onsite"). The application is a secure viewer of the reserved management area, built with WebView technology that loads service pages via an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Credentials and security. Credentials (email and password) are transmitted exclusively via HTTPS to MyRepair's authentication servers and are never stored in plaintext on the device. The session is managed server-side via secure cookies. If the user activates the "Remember me" option, an extended session cookie is stored in the Android WebView, isolated from other applications and protected by operating system security measures.
Data accessible through the app. Through the application the user can access and manage their MyRepair account data, including:
- Shop customer records (name, email, phone, address)
- Repair cards and support tickets (device, fault description, work status, notes)
- Inventory items and spare parts
- Issued documents (quotes, acceptances, receipts)
- Contact details of end customers (email, phone)
Such data is owned by the shop/professional and is processed by MyRepair solely as Data Processor pursuant to art. 28 GDPR.
To request account deletion and removal of all associated data, send a written request to info@myrepair.it with the subject "MyRepair account deletion". Data will be removed within 30 days of receipt, subject to legal retention obligations. The app does not allow independent account creation: registration is only possible at www.myrepair.cloud/sign-up.aspx.
Geographic location (Onsite technicians). For accounts that have activated the Onsite Interventions module, the app allows technicians working at customer premises to share their GPS location with the shop manager, in order to coordinate field service activities. Location is collected only when the technician explicitly starts sharing from within the app, and is transmitted exclusively to MyRepair servers via HTTPS. Location data is not shared with third parties and is retained only for as long as necessary to manage the service call. The technician can stop sharing at any time from the app settings. Accounts that do not use the Onsite module are not subject to any location data collection.
What data we collect and why
During the use of the MyRepair service we collect the following personal data:
- Registration data: business name and email address, provided voluntarily during registration. Required to create and manage the account.
- Usage data: technical information about service access (IP address, browser, pages visited, access times), collected automatically for security and service improvement purposes.
- Data entered in the management system: data relating to customers, repairs, inventory and documents entered by the user into the application are data for which the user is the Data Controller; MyRepair acts as Data Processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
- Communications: if you contact us by email, the data provided will be used solely to respond to your request.
Legal basis for processing
- Performance of contract (art. 6 par. 1 lett. b GDPR): to provide the service and manage the account.
- Legitimate interest (art. 6 par. 1 lett. f GDPR): to ensure the security of the service and prevent abuse.
- Consent (art. 6 par. 1 lett. a GDPR): for any commercial communications, subject to the explicit consent of the data subject.
How we process data
All data is processed using IT tools in compliance with the technical and organisational security measures required by the GDPR. Data is not sold or transferred to third parties. Access to data is restricted to authorised Fixit SRLS personnel.
Disclosure to third parties
Personal data is not disclosed to third parties, except in the following cases:
- Technical suppliers providing instrumental services (e.g. hosting, transactional email delivery), bound by confidentiality agreements and appointed as Data Processors.
- Competent authorities, when required by law or by judicial authority orders.
Retention periods
Account data is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and, subsequently, for as long as necessary to fulfil legal obligations (tax, accounting). Account data inactive for more than 24 months may be deleted after notifying the registered email address.
Cookie
The site uses only technical and session cookies necessary for the functioning of the service (authentication, language preference). We do not use profiling or third-party advertising tracking cookies.
Cookies can be disabled in your browser settings; disabling technical cookies may impair the proper functioning of the service.
For further details, see our Cookie Policy.
